How To Know If My Car Is Accident Prone?
Lately, a friend of mine shared with me a formulae to check if a vehicle is accident-prone and which parts of the vehicle are likely to be damaged. Let me simplify it and share it here with our readers.
Steps
1) Group your car plate number into 2 groups
eg. Car Plate XXX9407X, 94 is first group & 07 is second group.
If your car plate no
- has 3 digits, add '0' as the prefix , eg, 744 => 0744
- has 2 digits, add '00' as the prefix , eg, 74 => 0074
- has 1 digits, add '000' as the prefix , eg, 4 => 0004
2) Add up numbers in each group so that it reduces to a single digit
eg. For XXX9407X,
- Group 1 : 9 & 4 --> 9+4 = 13 --> 1+3 = 4
- Group 2 : 0 & 7 --> 0+7 = 7
3) Assign an element to each group
Group Number : Element
- 1,2 : Wood
- 3,4 : Fire
- 5,6 : Earth
- 7,8 : Metal
- 9,0 :Water
eg . Group 1 is 4, therefore belongs to Fire
Group 2 is 7, therefore belongs to Metal
4) Accident-Prone? Check if the Group 1 and Group 2 elements are in conflict
- Wood conflicts with Metal, Earth
- Fire conflicts with Metal, Water
- Earth conflicts with Wood, Water
- Metal conflicts with Fire, Wood
- Water conflicts with Earth, Fire
eg. Group 1 is Fire, and Group 2 is Metal...Therefore both Groups are in conflict
=> this vehicle with car plate number xxx9407x is accident-prone
5) Determine parts of car which are more prone to accident.
- Base on Group 1 and Group 2 numbers, refer to follow diagram
REAR

FRONT
- eg Group 1 number is 4 & Group 2 number is 7, the damage prone areas are
sectors represented by number 4 and 7 which are rear right and centre left respectively.
This formulae has been tested on many cases and so far accuracy rate is around 70% to 80%. Of course, other factors like the colour of the vehicle, the driver etc play a part. Have fun trying. But most importantly, be a safe driver!
